It was all going well, We had not been
out for ages. The last time we were green laning my fuel pump gave in half
way through the day. I have fitted a fuel pump from an old Astra GTE. Its
an inline pump as opposed to the in tank pump originally fitted. Lee, Eddy
and I met at Johns. We caught up with Paul somewhere else! ( I dunno where).
Whilst waiting at the fuel station, John realised he had a puncture. Eddy
shut his rear wiper in the window. A good start. Paul turns up and we head
off down some lanes. The first muddy bit and I go ahead to take pics. Whilst
plugging through the mud I break a front halfshaft. Mandy and I got covered
in mud whilst Paul n Eddy drove by....... (got your number!)
Shortly after, another puncture for John.
My fuel filter packs in, restricting the flow to the engine.
Frosty gets stung by a wasp.
On the way home, Lee's rear diff starts to fall apart. He already has starter
problems and alternator problems. Whilst he pulls his halfshafts and rear
prop I re-run my fuel line and clear my filter again.
